2. What information we collect
We collect the following personal information when you create an account and use Little Way: • Your email address • Your password (stored as a secure hash — we never store your password in plain text) • Your child's first name and age range • Your preferred daily card delivery time • Records of which cards have been delivered to your account We do not collect your child's full name, date of birth, location, or any sensitive personal data about your child beyond a first name and age range.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect solely to provide the Little Way service. Specifically: • To create and manage your account • To deliver your daily card by email at your chosen time • To personalise card content to your child's age range • To maintain your card history in your dashboard • To send service-related emails such as your welcome email and daily card We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data to third parties.

The only child-related data we store is a first name and age range, provided by the parent or guardian when setting up their account. 7. Email communications
By creating an account and completing the onboarding process, you consent to receive daily card emails from Little Way at the delivery time you selected. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any of our emails, or by contacting us at hello@littlewayapp.com. Unsubscribing will stop daily card emails but will not delete your account.
8. Data storage and security
Your data is stored securely in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon (neon.tech). All connections to our database are encrypted using SSL. Our application is hosted on Vercel (vercel.com). We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.
9. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate Little Way: • Neon — database hosting • Vercel — application hosting • Resend — transactional email delivery Each of these providers processes data only as necessary to provide their service and is bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
10. Data retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at hello@littlewayapp.com and we will action your request within 30 days.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. The date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last updated. Continued use of Little Way after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
